The University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt is Austria‘s oldest university of applied sciences. More than 3,300 students from 50 different countries are enrolled at the campuses in Wiener Neustadt, Wieselburg and Tulln. Students enjoy an academic education which nonetheless emphasizes the practical; for example, students are required to do an internship of several months while studying.
Yet thanks to student exchange programs and internships abroad, the education obtained here is not only practical, but also international.
The University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt
has become an important partner in innovation for the economy. Through applied research and development as well as ongoing knowledge and technology transfer, a continuing dialogue with the business world is maintained. One of the pioneers in Austrian applied sciences education, the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt has offered business and technical degree programs since 1994. And ever since, not only has the scope of degree programs been expanded, but continuing education programs for graduates, multisemester training programs and tailor-made seminars for entrepreneurs have been developed.

More than 5,400 students graduated from the University in the period from 1994 to 2011.
