The Austrian Center for Medical Innovation and Technology, in short ACMIT, commenced operations as a Comet K1 competence center in April 2010 and is active in fundamental and application-oriented research in the field of medical technology. As a K1 center, the consortium will involve more than 40 national and international partners from science and industry in the planning and carrying out of its collaborative research projects.
